Applied Project “PV”
In the applied project “PV,” we are transferring findings from a previous research collaboration within the framework of the EU-funded project “DISGRID” into a practical application. The aim now is to tailor the training of future generations of police officers at the University of Applied Police Sciences Saxony-Anhalt (‘FH-POL-LSA’) with the help of scientific findings and methods.
For this purpose, the project combines the practical benefits of improving police training with the utilization and continuation of EU-funded research on the dynamics of attitudes and behaviors in certain phases of life.
The project aims to initiate the evidence-based development of training content in the Saxony-Anhalt State Police. By documenting the process in the form of standard operating procedures (SOPs), the results achieved and the experience gained in the project will also enable the transfer of its approaches to other areas of the public sector (e.g., prisons or administrative colleges).
